News from the Domestic Abuse Project
Michele Greager, LCSW was recently promoted to the position of Senior Counselor and successfully completed all of the requirements to achieve her social work licensure. She is the first graduate of the Agency's Clinical Licensure Supervision Program funded by generous grants from the Tuttleman and van Amerigan Foundations.
DAP's Annual county-wide law enforcement training was held on June 15th attended by 135 chiefs of police and officers from each of the County's 40+ municipal police departments. The featured trainer was nationally-recognized Lt (ret.) Mark Wynn who provided training on dealing with children at the scene, the new weapons relinquishment provisions of the Protection from Abuse Act, responding to hostage situations and the crime of stalking. DAP provides a full day of training each year on behalf of members of law enforcement supported by Mellon MidAtlantic Charitable Trusts.
